Virginia/Maryland/DC area support group

The last Virginia/Maryland/DC Metropolitan Area Klinefelter Syndrome Support Group was held on Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 1:30-4:30 PM. The new meeting was held at Audrey Moore RECenter, 8100 Braddock Road, Annandale, Virginia 22003. The meeting was held in Senior Center Rooms I & II. More information about this RECenter can be found on their website. This facility is located right off of I-495 (Capital Beltway) and not too far from I-95 and I-395, and is very easy to get to from all locations.

Directions from the south: Follow I-95 north and take the exit for Tysons Corner/I-495 (I believe this is Exit 170B). Once on I-495, follow to Braddock Road, Exit 54A-B (approximately 2 miles). Take the second Braddock Road Exit (Rt. 620 West). Stay in the right lane after you exit onto Braddock Road (the lane does not end at the highway). Follow through the first traffic light and make a right turn at the second traffic light. The second traffic light takes you into Audrey Moore RECenter. Follow the road until it is just about to end and make a left turn. Park and head inside to the front desk. Tell them you are there for the support group meeting in Senior Center Rooms I & II.

Directions from the north: Follow I-95 South from Baltimore and points north and take Exit 27 to merge onto the Capital Beltway (I-495) towards Silver Spring. Follow approximately 27 miles to Exit 54 A-B for Braddock Road. Take the first Braddock Road exit and get into the far right lane. Bear right onto Braddock Road staying in the right lane. Make a right turn at the first traffic light and that takes you into Audrey Moore RECenter. Follow the road until it is just about to end and make a left turn. Park and head inside to the front desk. Tell them you are there for the support group meeting in Senior Center Rooms I & II.

Directions from the west: Follow I-66 or Rt. 50 east to I-495. Follow approximateily 4 miles to Exit 54 A-B for Braddock Road. Take the first Braddock Road exit and get into the far right lane. Bear right onto Braddock Road staying in the right lane. Make a right turn at the first traffic light and that takes you into Audrey Moore RECenter. Directions from east of Washington DC: Follow whichever route is easiest for you, to the Capital Beltway (I-495) and go south for approximately 28 miles. Do not follow I-95 south when it splits of I-495 south around Springfield. Continue straight on I-495 until you get to Braddock Road, Exit 54 A-B. Take the second Braddock Road Exit (Rt. 620 West). Stay in the right lane after you exit onto Braddock Road (the lane does not end at the highway). Follow through the first traffic light and make a right turn at the second traffic light.
